As a full time digital designer creating this children’s book motivated me to get out of the office and away from the computer screen. I loved taking color theory in college and this rekindled that old love affair with water-color painting I once had. It also gave me the opportunity to connect with my children in a creative and artistic way. I’ve always admired their imagination and ability to think in the most abstract ways. This book was the culmination of months of painting, writing, editing, and re-painting each and every page.

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Write it down, commit to it, and tell everyone you know you’re doing it.

I love committing to a lofty goal. Whatever it is I’ve always followed the same formula.

1) Write it down.

2) Mentally commit to it.

3) Tell everyone you know you’re doing it to hold yourself accountable.

Creating this book was no different. As usual, I’ve gotten by with a little help with my friends and family on this one. This book would not be what it is without the generous help of my extremely talented wife her contributions along the way.
